About this product

Vitamin D3 3,000 IU is supplied in softgel form, with 120 softgels per container. Each softgel provides 75 mcg (3000 IU) of vitamin D (cholecalciferol), equivalent to 1500% NRV.

The softgel capsule is made from gelatine with glycerol as a humectant. The remaining ingredients are extra virgin olive oil, medium chain triglycerides and rosemary extract used as an antioxidant. The label does not explicitly declare allergens but notes the capsule contains gelatine of animal origin.

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Individuals consuming more than 2,000 IU (50 µg) per day of vitamin D (from diet and supplements) should periodically obtain a serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D measurement. Vitamin D supplementation is not recommended for individuals with high blood calcium levels. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
