About this product

DLPA is supplied in vegetable capsule form, with 50 capsules per pack. Each capsule provides 500 mg of DL-Phenylalanine, made up of 250 mg D-Phenylalanine and 250 mg L-Phenylalanine.

The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose. The remaining ingredients are vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and hydroxypropyl cellulose. The label states that the product does not contain any of the 14 major allergens listed in Annex II (1169/2011) of the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation, and that it is free of gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, yeast, sugar, sodium, artificial flavors, sweeteners, preservatives and colors.

Directions

As a food supplement for adults, one (1) to two (2) vegetable capsules daily, with juice or water in between meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Warnings

Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Use by pregnant or breastfeeding women and persons taking medications only after consultation with a doctor or specialist. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. DL-Phenylalanine is not intended for use during pregnancy or lactation or for those with high blood pressure. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of small children.
